The UK Medical Collections Group's adult learning project, Medicine at the Movies, has won a prestigious Jodi Award for digital access and inclusion.
The British Dental Association Museum, which worked with a group of adults with learning disabilities to make a film, "No Fairies", about looking after your teeth, won the award for digital inclusion for people with learning disabilities. The film is of such quality that the museum now uses it as part of its teaching sessions. The Medicine at the Movies partnership, which included six museums from across the country, also won a commendation from the judges for digital access onsite.
I've described Medicine at the Movies elsewhere on this site, where you can also download the UKMCG's Guide to Film Projects which was one of the key outputs. Medicine at the Movies was funded by the Adult Learning Transformation Fund.
