During the summer of 2021 I worked with the Learning team at Bradford Museums on a business plan to help them recover from the Covid-19 pandemic by re-thinking their business model, priorities and impact.
This project was part of a programme of work supported by Arts Council England's Culture Recovery Fund to help museums and galleries survive, adapt and ultimately thrive after the challenges of the last 12 months. I worked with the team at Bradford to identify the new opportunities that Covid has brought, thinking about new ways of doing things and about what we can learn from the experiences of the previous year. Bradford has some fantastic venues and collections, and its learning team has a well-deserved reputation for innovation and creativity. The strategy focuses on developing the service's audience-focused approach, supporting Bradford schools and communities and getting involved in exciting partnerships as Bradford works towards an application to be City of Culture in 2025.
